JUAMI-OCF 2021 Virtual Symposium

The theme of the 2021 virtual symposium will focus on equitable access to computational resources and education in Africa. Specifically, the symposium is designed to create a dialogue to discuss solutions to challenges and barriers that restricts access to computational resources in Africa and how JUAMI-OCF can better leverage its position to take part in practical solutions. Additionally, the symposium aims to connect current and prospective users and highlight on-going projects being performed and prospective projects to be performed on the facility to foster camaraderie and cross-border collaboration through research presentations. Lastly, Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), DFT, and MATLAB workshops will be offered as part of the symposium.
