Professional Accredited Martial Arts Coaching 

The Ofqual regulated and accredited coaching qualification that goes above and beyond and is considered to be the gold standard for professional coaching is called the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF). It is the benchmark for fully qualified and recognised coaches and trainers, and is approved and regulated by Ofqual (the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation). 

The course consists of completing 100 hours of coaching in practice, which includes 8 observations and assessments of performance that must successfully be passed by an Ofqual-qualified teacher who acts as the expert witness. The aim of the course is to develop both theoretical and practical coaching skills.

The Teaching in a specialist area and the Developing, using, and organising resources in a specialist area units are called the 'pathway modules', and they are what convert the overall qualification into a Martial Arts Coaching qualification in our case because we make them completely Martial Arts related.

As part of a Martial Arts instructor's continuing professional development (CPD), this qualification will serve to promote the refinement and improvement of coaching, learning, and assessment. Diverse topics are addressed on the course, and the ability to implement innovative coaching methods is facilitated. 

On successful completion of the qualification, the participant will achieve a recognised and fully accredited Ofqual coaching qualification– the Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training (RQF), Ofqual Qualification Number: 601/8122/9.
