Intern Orientation Camp (Spring Break)

**Required in order to do Summer Internship
The intention of this week-long overnight camp is to prepare participants for summer internship.
Our goal is that we create a foundation of life skills. This way, our interns leave here feeling confident in their abilities with horses and people.
What to expect? Campers will learn what the day to day running of the ranch looks like, from feeding and caring for the horses, riding and improving their personal horsemanship, to expanding their knowledge of all things horse.
Who should come? Anyone interested in, or already accepted into, our summer internship program.
Advanced Camp (CHA Levels 2-4, ages 9 and up)
July 14-18, 2025

The intention of this week long overnight horsemanship camp is to foster a positive community that inspires riders to become the best versions of themselves.
Our goal is to train each rider to become safety conscious, knowledgeable and effective horse people.
What can you expect? Each day will have 2 riding lessons, with students of similar ability. There will also be 1 unmounted horsemanship lesson daily. Trail rides, swimming and crafts are scheduled throughout the week, as well as plenty of time for horse care and hanging with your friends. We will close out the week with a Horse show for your parents.
Who should come? Riders who are CHA level 2 and up are welcome. You'll need to be comfortable at all 3 gaits as this is a fast paced camp geared towards growing your riding skills!
Beginner Camp (CHA Level 1-2, ages 5 and up)
The intention of beginner camp is to teach horsemanship skills in a safe, fun environment that encourages learning.
Our goal is that each rider can become safety conscious, knowledgeable and effective horse people.
What to expect? Students will be divided into groups according to ability. They will take 2 riding lessons, an unmounted ground lesson, and take a short trail ride each day. They will also have time to clean up and care for their horses.
Who should come? Anyone newer to horses and riding!
