MEET THE JT COACH MEMBERS

Founder and Education Coach:

My name is Jamie Tullos, and I have dedicated almost 15 years to serving students and families in Special Education. Supporting children and helping families navigate the educational system has always been more than a career for me, it is truly my passion and calling.

Over the course of my career, I spent 13 years with North East ISD and one year with San Antonio ISD. I began as a Special Education Co-Teacher for five years before transitioning into the role of Middle School Special Education Coordinator, where I served for the past seven years.

As a Campus Coordinator, I oversaw a growing special education program that expanded from approximately 150 students with IEPs to more than 220 students. In this role, I ensured that IEPs remained compliant, services were implemented with fidelity, and students received the support they needed to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. I worked closely with parents, teachers, administrators, advocates, and service providers to build trust and create collaborative plans focused on what was best for each child.

Throughout my years in education, I met many parents who felt overwhelmed by the IEP and 504 process and unsure of how to effectively advocate for their child’s needs. While working within the school system, I always did my best to support and guide families. However, stepping away from that role has allowed me to focus more directly on partnering with parents one-on-one.

My goal as an Education Coach is to empower parents with the knowledge, confidence, and tools needed to understand their child’s educational plan, advocate effectively, and build positive partnerships with schools. I believe parents should never feel alone or intimidated during the educational process.

I am honored to work alongside families as they navigate their child’s educational journey, and together, we can create a path that helps your child grow, succeed, and thrive.

Licensed School Psychologist:

My name is Samantha Jaroszewski. I am entering my 20th year as a Licensed School Psychologist (LSP) with extensive experience supporting students from early childhood through high school across two Texas public school districts.

My background includes conducting comprehensive Full and Individual Evaluations (FIEs), including review of school records, parent and teacher input, observational data, and administering a wide range of assessment measures, including cognitive, academic, adaptive, behavioral, and social-emotional. My evaluation experience includes eligibility areas such as Specific Learning Disabilities (including dyslexia and dysgraphia), Other Health Impairment, Emotional Disability, and Autism. I also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams supporting evaluations for Emergent Bilingual students, Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students, and students with Visual Impairments (VI). In addition, I have experience conducting related services counseling  evaluations, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and writing individualized, data-driven behavioral and social skills IEP goals.

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), I have completed advanced training in behavior analysis. Although I have not practiced in an independent BCBA provider role, I have used this background to strengthen my role as a Licensed School Psychologist (LSP) in making connections between assessment results and practical, classroom-based supports and behavior intervention strategies.

Throughout my career, I have valued communication and collaboration with families and educational teams, prioritizing evaluation results that are understandable and meaningful to support informed decision-making throughout the special education process. My mission as a consultant at JT Education Coaching is to continue this work by serving as a resource for families through evaluation review, providing consultation, and offering suggestions for next steps, including recommendations.
