• About the Journal

Studies in Translation is a biannual refereed international research journal published by the Jordanian Translators Association in Amman which aims to promote research on all types of translation, whether written or oral, including activities such as literary, legal and political transaction as well as various forms of oral interpreting, subtitling, sign language interpreting and court interpreting. The journal also seeks to make an effective contribution to disseminating new ideas and examples of good practice in educating students and instructors in translation, so that they can make their fullest contribution to their societies. All papers will be referred and will not be returned whether or not accepted for publication. Only original previously unpublished articles will be considered.
