At the 25th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Plant Systematics (@Kumamoto), we will host a lunchtime seminar on Herbarium specimens during the lunch break.
This year’s luncheon seminar will introduce the history of the development of Herbaria in Japan and explore how Japanese researchers have significantly influenced studies of the flora of East Asia—particularly in Korea and Taiwan.
Through this seminar, we hope to highlight the international role that Japanese Herbaria have played and to further raise awareness of the importance of preserving and passing on these valuable academic resources.
All conference participants are welcome to attend the seminar.
