On July 24–25, 2026, the JSPS Alumni Association of Argentina, in collaboration with the National University of La Plata (UNLP), held the seminar “Understanding Inter-Kingdom Interactions to Improve Health, Agriculture, and Animal Production” at the Karakachoff Building of UNLP.
The event featured the participation of Professor Dr. Haruki Kitazawa and Professor Dr. Tomonori Nochi from the Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Tohoku University, as well as Dr. Rafia Inaam, postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Research on Next-Generation Semiconductor and Sensing Science, Toyohashi University of Technology.
On July 23, 2026, representatives of our association’s Steering Committee visited the Embassy of Japan in Argentina. We were warmly received by the Cultural Attaché Keika FURUKAWA and Ms. Noemí Murakami from the Cultural and Information Center of the Embassy of Japan in Buenos Aires.
The delegation included Professors Dr. Haruki Kitazawa and Dr. Tomonori Nochi from the Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Tohoku University, together with Dr. Rafia Inaam, postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Research on Next-Generation Semiconductor and Sensing Science, Toyohashi University of Technology.
