AIM AND SCOPe

JSB serves as a platform for disseminating research findings, educational experiences, and local as well as global insights that contribute to the enhancement of Malay language education and cultural heritage. It also provides space for critical discussions and innovative practices that can generate significant impact on pedagogy, curriculum development, and best practices in language education.

The journal welcomes contributions from related educational areas such as:

• Development of the Malay language, literature, and culture

• Malay language pedagogy and curriculum innovation

• Malay literature pedagogy and literary criticism

• National culture and its integration in education

• Contemporary literature in education

• Innovation in Malay language and literature education

• Integration of digital technology in the teaching and learning of language and literature

• Formal and informal teaching and learning of the Malay language

• Malay linguistics, sociolinguistics, and applied linguistics

• Comparative and cross-cultural studies involving the Malay language

• Language policy, planning, and preservation of the Malay language and culture

JSB also accepts empirical, theoretical, and conceptual papers, including case studies, literary analyses, systematic literature reviews, bibliometric analyses, and text analyses. Articles may be published in Malay or English.
