Jahnavi Srikanth

Jahnavi Srikanth has been learning Carnatic music from the age of 5 under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Manjula Ramachandran. Jahnavi has performed in several Carnatic individual and group programs organized by Mangala Isai Arts Center.   She stood third in the Papanasam Sivan competition conducted at Bridgewater Balaji Temple, NJ.  During her stint in India Jahnavi continued her learning from Sri. S.P Ramh.  She has been part of school Choir Program for many years.  She was selected to be part of prestigious New Jersey State Ensemble and she has participated in several concerts including  Central Jersey Music Educators Ensemble and School concerts.  She is adept at playing keyboard which she has  been learning for many years. Jahnavi enjoys playing manjeera which she picked up attending Sai Bhajans from childhood.   

Outside of music Jahnavi is a avid soccer player representing her school team.  Her other passion is community service which she regularly participates in distributing supplies for the needy and in tutoring at school.  Jahnavi was instrumental in establishing the Spoken English Program for a school run by Sevalaya, a non profit organization based in Chennai.   She has been a keen student of Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas program from early age.

She is attending Northeastern University in the fall.

Rangasri Ramji

Rangasri Ramji is currently a professional in the financial services and data analytics industry. She started learning the western classical violin, performing in orchestras and quartets and transitioned into learning the carnatic classical violin. She learned from Smt. Gowri Ramakrishnan in New Jersey and Rangasri has shown continuous interest in performing and displaying her talents by accompanying various vocal concerts and in dance arangetrams.

She has been learning from All India Radio Top artist, NC Madhav to further advance her training. Rangasri is striving to advance in her corporate career while maintaining her passion for carnatic violin.

Sabarinath Ramachandran

Sabarinath Ramachandran is a Junior at Rutgers University. He started learning mridangam from his father and continued under Sri. Akshay Ananthapadhmanabhan and Sri Ganesh Kumar. Currently Sabari is mentored by and is a student of Guru Sri. Nandakumar. He has won prizes at Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and CMANA and has had the opportunity to accompany many well known artists.  

Jishnu Subramanian

Chi. Jishnu Subramanian was introduced to Mridangam, Kanjira, and Ghatam by  Sri. T. S. Nandakumar at the early age of four and half. With his Guru’s blessings, he has been playing for many music concerts across the tri-state including notable artists Vidwan Sri. T.S. Krishnamurthy, Dr. Sirkali G. Siva Chidambaram and was very blessed to accompany legendary Vidhushi A. Kanyakumari at his Arangetram. Jishnu is a Senior at the South Brunswick High School where he enjoys playing percussion and Jazz for the High School Bands. He will be attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst next year.
