Hello and welcome to the Riptide Mini-Bang sign-ups!! This event revolves around the Riptide pirates and various people, creatures and locations they’ve seen throughout the campaign! SO while we wait for the Hiatus to come to an end lets get together and make something we all would enjoy ^_^
This event is a Mini-Bang, to showcase this wonderful fandom's wonderful people through their art and writing!
Just in case you're wondering, a mini-bang is just a smaller version of a Big Bang Event.
Dont know what a big bang is in the first place? no problem! In short, its basically a challenge involving fanfics, accompanied by fanart. a collaboration between writers and artists, where the artists make the piece to go along with the story.
HOW WILL THE RIPTIDE MINI BANG WORK?
The Riptide Mini Bang is an event to celebrate the stories and characters within the Riptide campaign and is open to all of those who wish to join. All works are allowed, so long as they are tagged appropriately. Works can be of any kind, canon-compliant, canon divergence or AUs—everything is welcome. Once again, all genres of works are allowed as long as they are tagged appropriately. Make sure to tag everything properly, and as the beta reader / artist, make sure you read the tags of the works you'd like to help with!
The communication for the event will happen through a Discord server, which participants are required to join and will receive the invite link at the end of the sign-up forms!
CHECK-INS
Check-ins are a way to make sure everything is running smoothly during the event, but don’t hesitate to reach out if something is amiss or if you have any questions.
POSTING
The posting for this round of works will be happening from 14th to 16th February 2025
DROPPING OUT
It is very understandable if things don't work out or if life happens, so if you need to drop out, please let me (Lish, zoppzoop) know, as early as possible so that a pinch hitter can be contacted.
