DENTAL ADVOCACY DURING VALENTINE'S DAY

"BRUSHING IS A MUST KAHIT NAKA MASK" is National Dental Health Month Celebration Theme for February 2022. In line with it, Bislig City Division celebrated NDHM back to back with Valentine's day. Providing dental health kits and advocacy through LOVE and SMILE booth for personnel. 

DISTRIBUTION OF CO DENTAL HEALTH KITS TO 70 SCHOOLS 

DEPED School dental Health Care  Program or SDHCP aims to provide access to Health services among learners and personnel. Central Office Delivered 355 boxes of Dental Health kits to Bislig City Division and the distribution to 70 schools was facilitated by the focal person.

PROJECT NURSES to Pamanlinan Elementary School and Bebiano Alba Elementary School

Project NURSES (Nurture and Uplift Remote Schools’ Education and health Services) is an outreach activity which help, uplift, and support persons who are deprived of certain services. It involves giving, learning, social planning and health support for the welfare of the learners, teachers and non-teaching personnel.

Health and Nutrition Section participates in the celebration of the World Diabetes Day which is done every November 14 of each year. This year’s theme; “Access to Diabetes Care - If Not Now, When?", conveys an important message for diabetes care. The theme encourages individuals to be aware of diabetes mellitus, as well as the benefits of disease prevention and treatment, dietary changes, and exercise, with the goal of keeping blood glucose levels within acceptable bounds. 

INAUGURATION OF THE FIVE (5) CLINIC HUBS IN BISLIG CITY DIVISION

The Department of Education, Bislig City Division, held the inauguration activities for the 5 clinic hubs located in Bislig Central ES, Balingan Central ES, San Roque Central ES, Mangagoy Central ES, and Plaza Central ES on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 as part of the Department's School Dental Health Care Program (SDHCP). These clinic hubs were created to offer learners and personnel with the services and resources they needed to address the high prevalence of dental caries and other health problems. The Department is committed to ensuring that learners have access to basic medical and dental services in order to address the health challenges faced by them making sure that their safety remains the top priority.

Bislig City Division, spearheaded by Dr. Ruby Mae G. Paculaba - Division's Dentist in-charge, facilitated the orientation, distribution and consolidation of the reports of the program.Â
