Nanostructured Materials and Devices Lab

The Nanostructured Materials and Devices Lab (NMDL) at Kumoh National Institute of Technology (kit) explores innovative nanofabrication technologies inspired by semiconductor processing. We bring together research on processes, materials, properties, and applications to create scalable nanomanufacturing methods and develop nanostructured materials with outstanding performance for practical use.

Our current research areas include:

• Advanced 3D lithography

• Optical simulation and materials (e.g., photomask, photoresist)

• Atomic layer deposition (ALD) for nanoporous materials

• 3D nanoarchitectures for emerging applications (e.g., metamaterials, nanophotonics, neuromorphic devices)

• Advanced membrane technologies
