JPA Plaza ... A family legacy for more than 60 years...

ALL EVENTS ARE ON SUNDAY AND RUN 10 AM TO 4 PM

Our outdoor market / creative events are curated to ensure a balanced selection of high-quality, original work, and community offerings. A depost of $20 is due at application submission.  Notification date is 10 weeks before the specific event and the balance is due 8 weeks before the event.   If you were not selected a refund will be issued less the application fee of $20.    The curated process does not apply for nonprofits participating in the NonProfit Expo but does apply to vendors applying for the 6/14/2026 event.

Who is JPA Plaza? Some History...

Established in the 1950s by James Ajamian, JPA Plaza has been a cornerstone of local business in Hillsborough for generations. The Ajamian family's legacy of entrepreneurship began in the late 1920s, with multiple family-owned businesses— diner, liquor store / restaurant,  gas stations, lawn mower shop, rug factory —all within the same community they called home.   

James and his wife, Julia, managed every aspect of JPA Plaza (recently named) with care and commitment, creating a foundation of service and family values that continues today.

Now managed by the next generation, including Deborah Fox, JPA Plaza remains dedicated to supporting small business success. Deborah brings expertise in property operations, finance, and digital marketing, offering hands-on support to help tenants thrive.

At JPA Plaza, the spirit of partnership lives on—where businesses grow and community comes first.

As the plaza evolves, it remains anchored in the spirit of James’ original vision. Each brick, every corner, and all of the shops reflect a commitment to fostering a place that feels like home. With carefully curated tenants that blend timeless charm with contemporary flair, JPA Plaza is more than just a retail destination — it’s a place for friends, families, and neighbors to connect, relax, and savor life’s moments.
