Experience & Training

During the program, we covered key topics such as Power Generation, AC/DC Transmission, Renewable Energy, Smart Grids, and PSCAD modeling. We had the opportunity to visit several remarkable facilities, including:

• KOMIPO Seoul Thermal Power Plant (world’s first underground power plant)

• KEPCO Shinansung 765kV Transmission Substation

• KEPCO Godeok 500kV HVDC Conversion Station

• Korea East-West Power Co. Ltd. Dangjin Thermal Power Plant

    These experiences provided invaluable insights into Korea’s advanced power and energy technologies, significantly enriching our learning journey!

Gained hands-on experience in Control Engineering, Communication Engineering, and System Engineering, along with R&D activities within the Bangladesh Navy. Gained insights into their Drone Technology and the NMEA communication protocol. 

Explored various workshops:

• Weapon Control, Gyro, and Sonar Control Shop                       

• Radio and Radar Shop 

• Calibration Centre                                                                                           

• Battery and Electroplating Shop 

• Machine Shop, Fitting Shop
