Brief Biography

Joyonta Das Joy is a Graduate Student in the Department of Engineering Sciences at the University of Agder (UiA), Norway, where he is pursuing an MSc in Renewable Energy as a NORSTIP Fellow. He earned his BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh, in July 2025.

His research interests include energy materials, nanophotonics, and advanced energy storage systems, material characterization, density functional theory (DFT) modeling, and device-level applications. During his undergraduate studies, he specialized in modeling, design, and optimization of photonic and nanoscale devices and was an active member of the CUET Photonics Research Group. He also served as the Vice Chair of the IEEE CUET Student Branch.

He is motivated by the integration of theoretical modeling and experimental research to advance next-generation materials and energy technologies. Additional academic and research details are available in his CV upon request.
