Here are a few examples of how I've helped organizations make better business decisions through data analysis and business intelligence.
I discovered revenue trends and regional customer behavior to guide future market expansion projects.
Conducted a comprehensive analysis of 2011 online retail sales data, utilizing Power BI to visualize trends in revenue time series, regional demand, and top-tier customer spending patterns.
The analysis identified a critical Q4 revenue spike (peaking in November at over $1.16M) and established that a handful of high-value customers drove the majority of revenue.
I delivered actionable recommendations, including doubling down on Q4 seasonal campaigns, diversifying the customer base to reduce dependence on top clients, and investigating underperforming regions like Brazil and the UAE to unlock new growth potential.

I monitored return rates and driver performance to uncover and rectify operational bottlenecks.
LogiFlow Dynamics struggled with over 136,000 recorded returns and lacked visibility into the root causes, leaving management unable to identify whether the issues stemmed from packaging, transit failures, or specific driver performance.
I utilized Power Query to clean a raw dataset of over 400 drivers, standardized numerical fields, and removed null values. I then built an interactive Excel dashboard using pivot tables to visualize return categories (e.g., "dented" vs. "missing in transit") and individual driver return rates.
The analysis uncovered that 56% of returns were due to "dented" products, suggesting packaging failures, while identifying specific outliers like Kaysee Drey (230 returns) who required performance intervention. I recommended specific operational shifts, including driver retraining, packaging re-evaluation, and the implementation of real-time item tracking to improve logistics accountability.

I analyzed user engagement and content trends to support a successful IPO valuation.
Through the a Data Analysis Job Simulation at Accenture, the task was to advise a hypothetical social media client by uncovering content trends and providing strategic recommendations to support their business objectives, including a successful IPO.
I cleaned, modeled, and analyzed 7 complex datasets to identify engagement patterns and content performance metrics, subsequently developing a comprehensive PowerPoint deck and video presentation to communicate these findings.
I delivered a strategic roadmap that aligned data-driven insights with the client's business goals, effectively demonstrating the ability to bridge technical data analysis with clear, stakeholder-facing communication and strategic storytelling.

I identified revenue gaps through cross-channel traffic analysis to improve sales conversion.
Business performance was hampered by underperforming regions, high bounce rates on the website, and a lack of clarity regarding which marketing channels and product categories were driving actual profitability.
Conducted a short analysis using Google Sheets to examine supermarket sales data, Facebook engagement metrics, and website traffic sources. I cross-referenced sales performance by category and region with user behavior metrics and social media engagement patterns.
Identified high-value growth areas (Technology and Office Supplies) and underperforming regions (Central and South). Recommended optimizing landing pages to reduce the 569-visitor bounce rate and shifting focus toward photo-based content and organic search to improve conversion strategies
Tools: Google Sheets
I evaluated platform-specific performance to optimize budget allocation and increase ROI.
Fresh Carts needed to evaluate the effectiveness of their advertising budget across multiple platforms (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads) to determine where to optimize spend and improve overall Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
I conducted a comprehensive analysis of ad performance data from January to August 2023, evaluating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including total revenue, conversion rates, and cost-per-conversion across all platforms. I created a dashboard visualization report to compare platform-specific ROAS and identify top-performing campaign IDs.
I identified YouTube as the most effective platform, generating $29,457 in revenue with a 298% ROAS, while highlighting Google Ads as the least efficient with the highest cost-per-conversion. I delivered data-driven recommendations to reallocate budget from underperforming channels toward high-ROI platforms, optimize keyword targeting, and replicate the successful creative strategies used in high-performing campaigns (IDs 16, 8, and 9).
Tools: Power BI, SQL
I analyzed multi-region sales performance to guide data-driven marketing resource allocation.
VistaTech Solutions experienced steady growth but lacked visibility into which customer demographics (age/gender) and regions were driving revenue, making it difficult to allocate marketing budgets or develop product strategies with confidence.
I transformed a raw dataset of over 17,000 rows by performing data cleaning in Power Query, removing duplicates, and creating custom columns for "Age Band" and "Customer Value Tier" using Excel formulas. I then developed an interactive dashboard using pivot tables to visualize revenue trends across countries, gender, and age segments.
The analysis revealed that Adults and Seniors (ages 34–64) generated over $18 million in revenue, while Australia emerged as the top-performing market. I provided actionable recommendations to bridge revenue gaps, such as launching targeted campaigns for younger demographics and underrepresented regions like Canada, France, and Germany to diversify the customer base.
Tools: Microsoft Excel
I created a structured financial tracking system to improve cash flow accuracy and reconciliation.
Jevers Bakery was producing approximately 90–150 bags of flour daily but lacked a structured system for tracking sales, cash collections, credit sales, expenses, and outstanding customer payments, making daily reconciliation and production planning more difficult.
I designed a practical daily sales tracking system using Microsoft Office to capture bread types, distributors, retail and walk-in sales, staff purchases, cash and credit transactions, expenses, debt repayments, cash remittances, and daily comments/sign-offs.
The system improved visibility into daily sales and cash flow, reduced discrepancies during reconciliation, made outstanding payments easier to track, and provided clearer demand patterns that could support better production and distribution planning.
