Seniors may find the holiday season less than joyous for a variety of reasons.

• Limited mobility: Many seniors can’t move around like they once did. This makes it difficult for them to shop, visit and celebrate like they used to.

• Loneliness: Depression, anxiety and isolation are more severe during the holiday because they are missing family and friends and remembering what the holidays used to be like.
