As I get older, I slowly realise why adults say being an adult is hard. There are so many things to worry about that even the little things can most likely bring you stress. I slowly begin to understand the fact that a lot of adults end up giving up on their dreams. It's not always because they give up on it because they're forced to by external forces. These people give up on it because time is essential, money is important for survival, and there is a lack in opportunities for them.
I think that the more we do get older, and the more we mature especially as we age (excluding the fact that experiences really do make up for a person's maturity in life), we find new things that we've never learned in school to be something so important in your day-to-day life. Essential things that make up your personal and financial success and help improve your individual lifestyle and maybe even those that you care about. But why does it happen so slow but hit you so hard?
Life gets so much more complex as we get older. Is it because we were sheltered by financial means of our parents? Is it because we weren't so aware or made aware of the real harshness of this world?
