About: Now I want to add context to the story. Why did I include in my portfolio? What does it show about my skills? Example: It took time to find sources for this story. My entire story was about how the pandemic affected low-income students' access to internet so reaching out via usual digital paths didn't work. I relied on word-of-mouth and old-fashioned phone calls to find sources and interview via phone.

About: I conceived, reported and published this story all within one day after news broke about a tornado in our community. Using social media reporting and open-source tools for a timeline, I told the story of the community's first 24 hours after the disaster.
