The Journal Club of Microbiology was inaugurated on 20.07.2024 (Saturday) by our respected Principal Dr. T.V.S. Padmaja. 

     The inauguration began with the prayer song by the students of 2nd M.Sc. Microbiology following it Ms. Krutika S delivered the welcome address. Dr. C. Soudhari, Head, Department of Microbiology felicitated guest of honor Dr. T.V.S Padmaja, Principal, Valliammal college for women. The topic of discussion of the day, "Colibactin producing E. coli and its effect on bladder and colorectal cancer" was presented. The discussion began by the group of eight members Pavithra H, Yuvashri U, Swetha C, Muthu Monika GD, Priyadharshini V, Swetha M, Kokila S and Krutika S.

     Dr. T.V.S. Padmaja mam, the principal of Valliammal College for Women is an unwavering support and belief in the power of academic discourse have been instrumental in fostering a culture of curiosity and scholarly engagement. She totally grasped our club's job and mentioned to the students, "You will be given an idea, what to be written? How to write? How to present? How to analyze someone else's research article? How to get the points?"
    She added the journals we have in our college library that everyone have access too and appreciated us for developing a concept of this club that expends our thinking. Under your guidance, we are motivated to explore, discuss, and expand our knowledge horizons. Thank you for being a catalyst for our intellectual growth and for empowering us to achieve academic excellence.
