ACADEMIC SUPPORT SYSTEM
Laboratory Schools are a group of schools that are part of the Mariano Marcos State University system. These schools are located in Laoag City and Batac City, both in the province of Ilocos Norte, Philippines. The Laboratory Schools offer a variety of academic programs and special programs, including secondary schools of science and agricultural sciences. The MMSU Language Center is also part of the Laboratory School. The goal of the Laboratory School is to provide quality education to students and be a training ground for future teachers. The Laboratory High School (LHS) is a laboratory school of MMSU that provides quality education to students in the secondary level. The school has a guidance and counseling office that provides academic and personal support to students. In general, the purpose of the school is to provide the best education in science and produce students who are highly knowledgeable in science and technology.
CURICULUM AND TEACHING SYSTEM
MMSU LHS often provide a curriculum that aligns with the educational standards and goals of the university. The curriculum typically covers subjects such as mathematics, science, language arts, social studies, physical education and also include additional subjects. MMSU LHS often use innovative teaching methods and practices. These methods may include project-based learning, inquiry-based learning, and other student-centered approaches. The teaching methods aim to engage students actively in the learning process, promote critical thinking, and encourage collaboration. At MMSU LHS already incorporates technology into the learning process. This can include the use of digital resources, interactive learning platforms and technology-enhanced teaching methods. In addition students also explore the connections between different subject areas which helps students see how concepts from different disciplines relate to real-world problems. The assessments used in this school may include tests, project evaluations, and other forms of performance assessment.

MATERIALS AND OTHER LEARNING SOURCES
The materials presented to the students are implemented based on the Philippine Department of Education. The Philippine government provides handbooks for each subject in the curriculum. In addition, teachers also try to find other learning resources from the internet to find current issues that happen in society. At MMSU LHS, students are provided with curriculum-aligned textbooks for each subject. These textbooks can be the main source of information and reference for students. In addition, the school also provides access to online databases, e-books and educational websites for independent learning. The school also has science laboratories for hands-on learning and experiments in subjects such as biology, chemistry and physics. The learning promoted in this school is collaborative, students are encouraged to do group projects as well as discussions with peers as a common learning resource.

MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION SYSTEM
The measurement and evaluation system at Laboratory School, Mariano Marcos State University, typically includes the methods and processes used to assess and measure students' academic progress, as well as the evaluation of instructional effectiveness. MMSU LHS uses a variety of assessment methods to measure student learning. These methods may include tests and quizzes, projects, presentations, essays, and performance-based assessments. Based on the observations I have made, formative assessments are used to monitor student learning during instruction, providing feedback to both students and teachers. Summative assessments, on the other hand, measure overall achievement at the end of a unit or course. This school also uses rubrics and grading scales to provide clear criteria for evaluating student work and assigning grades. This ensures consistency in grading. Teachers also observe students in class to assess their participation, behavior, and understanding of the material. Students can put together portfolios that display their work over time, giving a comprehensive view of their progress. In this school, regular conferences are also held between teachers and parents or guardians to discuss student progress and areas for improvement. The measurement and evaluation systems can be part of a wider effort to continuously improve a school's curriculum and teaching methods.
