Surviving your teenage years can be difficult, but add Diabetes to that and you have what feels like World War Three. Most people have heard of Diabetes in one form or another, whether it be from the popular internet meme from a few years ago, knowing someone who has it, or being diagnosed with it yourself.
As a teen with Diabetes, I’ve learned there are many stereotypes that come with the name of this condition. So, I’ve written this book to shed light on both the good, bad, and ugly. Its pages include all the facts you need to know, interviews with professionals, personal anecdotes, silly doodles, funny stories, and more.
This isn’t a book, it’s a survival guide to help at least one scared teen, anxious parent, or best friend understand a little more about the silver lining behind the storm cloud of Diabetes.
