English Composition

Hello everybody, name is Joshua Meeson and I am a first year student at the College of Coastal Georgia and my post college plan is to become a high-school teacher. In my website you will see various different projects from my English class. In this class we have learned different forms of communication and better ways to organize our work, we additionally have covered pressing issues in todays society. I love to help people and this is why I have chosen the career path I have and college is just one of the necessary stepping stones to fulfil my end goal. When I am not at work or school I enjoy photography, shopping, and cooking. I love nature so photography gives me an opportunity to get out of the house and capture what I find to be beautiful which gives me a nice break from everything going on in my life. I have always been intrigued with fashion though, I regularly online shop for clothes and shoes, fashion in my eyes is a way to express myself without talking. Travel has also played a huge roll in my culinary abilities, I lived in Japan for 3 years and in my time there I tried so many delicious foods and it inspired to try new recipes and I fell in love with cooking. Cooking is something that is time filling for me and rewarding at the same time because if I can serve somebody food that makes them happy it is really satisfying to me and its also something that fills up my time that I may have originally just used to go on my phone; its something constructive to do. Living abroad definitely expand my desire to try new recipes but it gave me unique outlook on life because I was able to experience such a different culture at such a young age. I hope this introductory shed a light on who I am and I hope you enjoy looking through my work.
