I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Previously, I was associated with the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur as an Assistant Professor in the Operations Management and Decision Sciences area. Prior to this, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Management Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, working with Prof. Raghu Nandan Sengupta. I obtained my Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Delhi under the supervision of Prof. Ajit Chaturvedi (Late) and Prof. Ashish K. Shukla.
My primary research interest lies in sequential analysis, with a focus on developing optimal and adaptive sequential procedures under various inferential constraints. I am particularly interested in the theoretical foundations of sequential sampling methods and their performance under different modeling frameworks. I also have a growing interest in utilizing sequential techniques to solve the inferential problems in reliability modeling. Besides this, I work on reliability estimation problems under advanced censoring schemes. More recently, I have developed interests in statistical quality control, where I am particularly interested in the percentiles-based control monitoring schemes under complete and censored data settings. A brief overview of my research work is also featured in the IIT Delhi Faculty Spotlight Series.
