BUQAYQ, SAUDI ARABIA
SPARK Dry Port is a state-of-the-art inland intermodal terminal located within the King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It is a massive project, spanning 3 square kilometers, and is designed to be the largest dry port in the region.
The dry port, which sits between Dammam and al-Hasa, will serve both SPARK industries and the wider Eastern Province. The port is also intended to attract and expand private sector participation in the economy, and directly support Aramco’s objectives at SPARK.
I worked here as MEP DRAFTSMAN
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepared Shop Drawings, Detailed Installation Drawings, Fabrication Drawings, Redline Drawings, & As-Built Drawings of the following discipline.
Electrical (Grounding & Lightning Protection, Lighting, Small Power, Cable Routing, & Fire Alarm System)
Mechanical (Fire Protection, Drainage, Water Supply, & HVAC)
Telecom & Security (Hor D/V Cableway & Outlet Location, Security Equipment, & Cable & Conduit)
Created technical drawings base from designers and engineer's sketches.
Made 3D Models & Perspective Drawing as work requires.
Created Coordination Drawings base from BIM
Prepared Material Take-Off and updated BOQ.
Collaborated with engineering teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements and industry standards.
Maintainined an organized file system of CAD Drawings.
Performed other duties instructed by Construction Manager & Project Manager.
