"My name is Joey Miller."

I'm an Assistant Professor in the philosophy department at West Chester University in West Chester, PA. I'm an enrolled member of The Muscogee Nation, and I grew up in Corcoran, Minnesota.

In 2009 I received my BA in philosophy (applied ethics emphasis) and BASc in psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Then, in 2012 I received my MA in philosophy from Virginia Tech. I received my PhD in philosophy in 2021 from the University of Washington, Seattle.

Outside of philosophy, I enjoy reading, writing, playing guitar, listening to music, hiking, and watching sports (particularly the Vikings, Timberwolves, Lynx, Wild, and Twins).
