SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Dr. Robert S. Macasieb and Mr. Eulogio B. Pebres signed A Memorandum of Understanding on May, 15, 2017, under the stipulation that the east wing of Rosa Susano Elementary School be under the responsibility/accountability of the senior high school principal-in-charge upon use including its premises relative to the occupancy by the students of Senior High School within Rosa Susano Elementary School On May 22, 2017, our Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Elizabeth E. Quesada, appointed new Assistant School Principals for Stand Alone and Integrated Senior High Schools in Quezon City. This signals the opening of Senior High School within Rosa Susano Elementary School as she officially endorsed Mrs. Marivic B. Francisco, Assistant School Principal II to assist Mr. Eulogio B. Pebres, Principal IV in the operation and management of the school. Collaborative efforts were exerted on June 1 and 2, 2017 to restructure the said building and its facilities by the Senior High School Assistant Principal II, Mrs. Marivic B. Francisco, Senior High School Focal Person for TVL, Dr. Rommel Mar C. De Guzman, Senior High School Focal Person, Mrs. Marilou B. Diesta, some senior high school teachers of Dona Rosario High School- Senior High School Department, and volunteer junior high school teachers of Dona Rosario High School. Senior High School teachers initiated the preparation from communications, documentations and implementation for the school year 2017-2018 for the approved four specializations under the Technical Vocational Livelihood track; Food and Beverage, Local Guiding, Bread and Pastry and Housekeeping to occupy the three floors of the East wing of the Rosa Susano Elementary School. Formal classes started with only four Senior high school teachers, the Assistant Principal as the school head, two Master Teachers, Dr. Rommel Mar De Guzman for the school management, Ms. Marilou Diesta as the School Coordinator and Mr. Richard Bryan Peralta, for Science related subjects, with a population of (110) one hundred ten students. After a week, a teacher from Balingasa High School, Ms. Merelyn F. Chen joined the team for Core English subjects and an additional TVL Home Economics teacher, Ms. Michelle Sabturani on the last day of July. The faculty room is situated on the last room, from the stairs of the second floor. Only the rooms on the first floor are allotted for the classes while the fourth floor functions as the venue for seminars and other school related gatherings. The first floor of the building functions as the entrance with a small store on the side as the school canteen was put up on June 13, 2017 to cater the 110 TVL students. Due to the lack of enough number of teachers to handle all the subjects, the two specializations, for each year were fused. Bread and Pastry students and Housekeeping students are merged, same with the case of Local Guiding and Food and Beverage for Grade 12. On the same day, Mr. Artita requested a service van from Barangay Gulod, Novaliches to transfer of tools and equipment of Bread and Pastry class from Dona Rosario High School to Senior High School Within Rosa Susano Elementary School. This initiative was a big help to facilitate the hands-on activity of the Bread and Pastry class. On June 16, 2017, Dr. Renato M. Rimando, Public Schools District Supervisor visited the school and checked the number of students per specialization. He also discussed about some of the issues related to Senior High School.Surprisingly on June 29, 2017, Engr. Bernardo Ponferada, City Engineer inspected the electrical connections of the school on and requested to submit the layout of the classrooms in order to plan for the provisions of electricity.
Fortunately, Mr. Eulogio B. Pebres, Principal, initiated the construction of the comfort room of the students. After series of orientations on the Work Immersion with the Grade 12 students and parents, the Grade 12 students were deployed for the Work Immersion Program on the second week of September: 18 students to Bratz Grilled Burger, 12 students to Astrotel, 20 students to Mc Hotel and 5 students to Yoshinoya Terraces.
