MY TARGET / LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of this activity, a student teacher should be able to identify the teaching method used by my Resource Teacher.

MY ANALYSIS

My analyzation to this episode is the greatest way of helping learners acquire is to use a student-centered way of teaching, in which the teacher allows them to freely express themselves, discuss their matters, and assist them in developing their talents and collaboration skills with their colleagues. How a teacher's teaching technique affects how he/she introduces to the learners a topic, how he or she begins the discussion, develops the learners, and finishes the discussion. In addition, evaluating your teaching approach after the discussion is vital to further examine how efficient it is for the learners.

MY REFLECTION

In this episode, I learned the teaching methods are essential to determine not just the actions or progress of learners, but also those of teachers, and also the learning process's effectiveness, as this gives an implied meaning about what education is and how students learn.

MY PORTFOLIO

While observing, I learned that the way the teacher explains matters affects the learners' growth, as well as how he or she interacts with the learners. Teachers should evaluate learning outcomes, student needs, and the learning environment when determining which teaching methods would effectively suit in a certain learning goal. I also discovered that providing a review of the past lesson before the discussion and a preview of the next lesson after the discussion is an efficient way of allowing learners to review the lessons. Teaching approaches assist students in understanding topic and learning how to apply it in a real-life situations.
