A good understanding of the activities and tasks to be accomplished in the activity sheets will yield better learning results.

Name of the School observed: Jose Maria Panganiban Senior High School
Location of the School: Villaflor Village, Brgy. Gulod, Novaliches, Quezon City
Date of Visit: March 2, 2022
We began our initial practical observation on November 22, 2021, in accordance with our Field Study 1 and 2 subject. Each one of us was appointed to a certain class and was responsible for observing everything connected to the students' learning process. Our teacher instructed us to fill in all of the gaps that related to our objective and goal. The goal is to be competent of determining a school environment that is socially, psychologically, and physically conducive to learning.
There are a tons of aspects that amaze me in Jose Maria Panganiban Senior High School, as I observed. One of these is that the educators are extremely engaged and enthusiastic about teaching their learners. They continue to seek out new methods of instruction in order to improve their teaching abilities, and they share their expertise of a particular topic or other things that may be of assistance to other teachers.
The school is next to a road, making it accessible to students who use public transportation to get to school.
MY ANALYSIS
How do the school and the laboratory rooms in particularly impact on the learning of the students on going to school? What are your conclusions?
The state of each facility and the school environment used to have a significant impact on the educational growth of the students. Learners will be unable to focus in class if their educational setting does not accommodate their educational adaptability. As a result, when teaching students, we must assess the optimal setting for them.
How does this relate to your knowledge of child and adolescent development? How does this relate to your knowledge of facilitating learning?
According to my prior knowledge of child and adolescent development, students learn more easily in a pleasant environment away from distractions and disturbances. They could easily pick up if the teacher uses a range of new and interesting educational resources and constantly motivates them. In relation to my former subject of promoting learning, I believe that when doing my duties as a teacher, I should use the methods and strategies that are most beneficial for learners to learn.
MY REFLECTION
1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why?
Yes, I'd like to teach in this school setting where I just observed. The school has excellent infrastructure, and even if it did not, I would not change my mind considering students who attend schools require supervision to guide their academic opportunities. I've witnessed how difficult it is for students to study in such a setting, yet their determination to learn has sparked my interest.
2. What kind of school is conducive to learning?
The educational environment on the school grounds must be complete, pleasant, and functional. There should also be hygienic and well-organized facilities that can help students learn more effectively without being hampered by their surroundings.
3. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning?
A learning environment must be hygienic, well-ventilated, and equipped with all necessary amenities. Tables and seats, as well as an electric fan and a restroom, were available as amenities. The floor should be kept clean, and the light in the classroom must be utilized, as daylight enters the classroom.
4. In the future, how you can accomplish your answer in number 3?
Being a good teacher one day will allow me to avoid fraud within the student finances because the students' primary motivation for attending school is to study, not to be bribed by any financial institution. I will monitor my classroom to determine what is bound to maintain it in a conducive learning environment. Not only will I check the classroom, but I will also check my students to see if they require assistance with anything.
5. Write your additional learning insights.
It is possible to be inspired to learn. How can any student concentrate on their studies if their surroundings are oppressive? As a result, the school campus's surroundings plays a significant role in influencing students to learn.
MY PORTFOLIO
My Personal Illustration of an Effective School Environment
These are the characteristics that an effective school must have. These include providing an engaging and safe educational atmosphere in which the student is protected from danger or accidents. Meaningful teaching, a shared vision and objectives, high standards for all students, transparency, and cooperative learning should all be present. Professional management is also required because the students are always reliant on the educator's instructions. A focus on learning and teaching is another something that should be considered.
