Description and schedule

The aim of this workshop is to bring together some young researchers in Harmonic Analysis and related areas. The main goal of the workshop is to encourage collaboration. The number of talks in each day is small and speakers will be strongly encouraged to focus on open problems within their areas rather than on their own results.

Practical information

The talks will take place at Aula Gris 1 in ICMAT (how to arrive). Probably the best way to come is using Renfe Cercanías trains from Nuevos Ministerios station, which is very close to the Residencia. We suggest that you plan to arrive a bit early the first day to allow yourselves to get lost in the campus (just kidding, it should be very easy to arrive).

Participants will be lodged in Residencia de Estudiantes (how to arrive), in Madrid. We have been told that there are two possible access points: C/ Pinar 21 (probably easier) and C/ Serrano 113-117. Both are open 24/7 although if you arrive between 10pm and 7am you will need to ring the bell and someone will open the gate.

A little list of places to go for dinner in the area could be the following:

  • The nearby street C/ María de Molina has many food places. Goiko Grill is a nice burger place.
  • José Luis, in C/ Serrano, serves pintxos and tapas. They are good, although not super cheap.
  • A Vánvera is an italian restaurant within 10 minute walk (google it). It is not cheap, but it is fantastic.

Of course, Google Maps knows many more. On Wednesday evening we will gather all together for tapas and hopefully a bit of wine somewhere in Madrid. Confirmation of attendance is not necessary.
