My full name is Jorge Pérez García. In Spain we have two family names (first for the father, second for the mother).
In 2025 I graduated from my PhD under the supervision of Adrián González and Javier Parcet, at the Institute of Mathematical Science (ICMAT), Madrid.
Now I am a postdoc at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Mathematics (IASM) at HIT (Harbin, China).
About my research
About my research
My research area is usually called non-commutative harmonic analysis. It means: using an analyst's perspective to study algebraic structures such as von Neumann algebras, C*-algebras or sometimes ('just') groups.
