I’m Jorge Ortega Pinel, a Level Designer with a strong passion for crafting cohesive, immersive, and well-paced gameplay experiences. I recently completed a Master’s Degree in Game Design at U-tad.
During my studies, I contributed to several collaborative projects as both a Game and Level Designer, gaining hands-on experience in designing and implementing gameplay mechanics, developing levels from blockout to final iteration, and working with engines such as Unreal Engine 5 and Unity collaborating with teams with more than 30 participats.
My approach focuses on rapid prototyping, continuous iteration through playtesting and metrics, and optimizing player flow and pacing to enhance the overall player experience.
