Hello, my name is Jordan Stensrud. Within the next year I am taking a break off of school to focus on family and myself, but I do intend on working on furthering my art skills. I will be going to art classes/workshops and experimenting on my own time. I got inspired to create art by my mom and older sister. They are both extremely talented artist and have shown me that I can achieve anything with practice. I feel like quarantine has allowed me to focus on my art with how much free time it gave me. Being online constantly at the beginning helped me get inspired to reach out and try different mediums and techniques. I would say my compositions and proportions have definitely gotten better over the course of the past 8-9 months that I have been taking AP art. In the future I see my art getting larger and my rage of things to draw also getting wider.

I have gotten 2 commissions by people who have seen my art on my dad's facebook. The first one was a drawing of Goku from Dragon Ball Z. They wanted Goku in Super Saiyan God mode with blue hair and the 7 dragon balls behind him kind of floating. I was able to execute this and I feel like it was a good experience for my first commission. The second was to draw a family portrait but in an animated style. It has been challenging, but overall a good experience.
