JOPLIN GAGNÉ - HE/THEY

JOPLIN (21, hilarious, brilliant) is an artist with many outlets, but his passion for storytelling has driven him to pursue a BFA in Filmmaking at UNCSA. In their professional career, Joplin hopes to dabble in all kinds of writing, and could not possibly fathom sticking to one path. During his time at (and since) graduating from the high school SCGSAH (Creative Writing '23) in his hometown of Greenville, South Carolina, he cultivated skills in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, screenwriting, and playwriting. He will continue to develop stories throughout all mediums, striving to achieve the emotional impact of Dead Poets Society (1989) coupled with the unorthodox mixture of humor & darkness found in works such as Fight Club (1999) and Fleabag (2016).
