The Van Gophers team was formed from a group of friends from around the Bay Area. After two seasons of training, the team is now proficient at building functional machines with Legos, programming complex movements on their robot, cooperating to solve problems, and coordinating as a team during competitions. They are currently learning the Python programming language and creating more complex mechanical parts.
