There is an almost electric energy to the way golden wattles sway in the breeze. These photos are long single exposure shots that celebrate the beauty of wattles in motion through intentional camera movement.
I have long been fascinated by the cosmic origins of our planet, and the celestial bodies from which our physical world was created. During one twilight, I was drawn to the colour of the twilight as it filtered through like pinpricks through dense tree canopies, and used intentional camera movement during handheld single long exposures to capture a connection between our physical world and the nebulae from which we owe our existence.

The Neck Lookout, Bruny Island
The Neck Lookout is one of the most popular areas on Bruny Island. It is a view that exists due to a delicate balance between water and a very thin strip of land. In this image, I have used glitch aesthetics to convey an abstraction of the impact of rising sea levels, its potential devastation on the postcard views of Bruny Island, but also to echo a sense of tranquility from nature.
