I'm a plant molecular biologist interested in plant defense response to environmental stresses including abiotic and biotic challenges. Previous studies indicate that plant-microbe interactions are influenced by several environmental conditions, including temperature and humidity. As average global temperatures increase, our understanding of the connections between elevated temperature and pathogenesis is increasingly important for effective crop management. Within this context, I'm interested in the molecular and cellular "crosstalk" that occurs when plants are simultaneously challenged by pathogen infection and elevated environmental temperature.

I am a graduate student studying plant pathology in PMEI. My research focuses on understanding plant immune responses to environmental stress at the molecular level and applying this knowledge to transgene-free crop development.
I am interested in how changing environmental conditions affect plant–pathogen interactions. Ultimately, I aim to study plant diseases under complex environmental conditions that better reflect real agricultural fields. Through this research, I hope to develop crops with improved disease resistance and environmental resilience.

I am a graduate student in the PMEI lab studying how plants maintain immunity in a warming environment. My research begins with a simple question: what happens to plant immunity when the temperature rises? To answer this, I investigate immune regulation across multiple layers—from calcium signaling and transcriptional control to the organization of immune receptors at the plasma membrane. By understanding where and how elevated temperature disrupts these processes, I hope to identify key mechanisms that can sustain plant defense under environmental stress. Ultimately, my goal is to translate these insights into strategies for developing disease-resistant, climate-resilient crops.
