PMEI lab is at the POSTECH Biotech Center, Pohang City, South Korea.

PMEI lab (Dr. JK's Lab) is currently looking for motivated graduate students, postdoc researchers, and volunteer undergraduates to study the mechanistic bases underlying the regulation of diverse pathosystems affected by climate change.

Interested candidates are encouraged to submit the following:

• Curriculum vitae

Research themes include:

• Regulation of plant immune system by environmental factors.

• Investigation of crop plant-pathogen interactions affected by warming climates 

• Mechanistic studies of plant–microbe interactions under suboptimal environmental conditions across evolutionarily diverse plant lineages 

• Optimization of plant-derived valuable protein production through the modulation of plant immunity

• 식물 면역 조절을 통한 식물 유래 유용단백질 생산 최적화 연구
