Mike Jones – recommendation/testimonial In March of this year I moved from Colorado and needed to install 3-240 volt lines from the far end (~120’) of the house to the garage workshop: one for an EV charging station and 2 for the workshop beyond the main garage – one of those lines for a heat pump/minisplit and the other for a saw. Our realtor recommended Mike Jones. Having heard he was a former electrical inspector gave me the confidence to give him a call. I grew up in the construction/remodeling trade and done minor electrical work in the past but this was beyond the scope of my comfort zone. Mike came to visit me on-site and gave me the confidence I could do it myself and, in this case, save a couple thousand dollars. He walked me through the permit process and details of what needed to be done from the panel box to the 240 outlets. It involved 80 feet of laying lines in a crawl space, coming out to a conduit and branching out from there. His recommendations for the type/size conduit, wires, circuit breaker were indispensable to setting it up by code. Numerous phone call follow-ups, including from the local electrical supply house, and hours of installation It passed inspection without a hitch. I highly recommend Mike Jones, couldn’t have done it without his guidance.
