I am a music teacher at Huddleston Elementary School in Peachtree City, my hometown. There, I've had the privilege of learning from many teachers and musicians who have shaped my love for music and all things.
During my studies at the Schwob School of Music, I found great interest and joy in teaching Private Voice lessons and in the scientific study of the voice. This informed my research choices and eventually led to topics of software development and vowel identification research. I hope to continue both this research and teaching voice as time permits.
The joy of teaching music is one I can only begin to express. Music has changed my life for the better, and I can easily trace its outcome from the experiences my teachers gave me in music in the past. This informs my daily choices and gives vigor to the want to share my love of music by teaching it.
I have since found a passion for the methodology of Modern Band and received certification through Music Will, formerly called Little Kids Rock. This is music education through the lens of music as a second language, and its goal is to normalize young students who enjoy playing modern music. More about them can be found here:
