Mentoring
I have mentored several undergraduate IML (Illinois Mathematics Lab) projects at UIUC, including the following.
Colored HOMFLY Polynomials of Rational Knots (co-supervised with Jake Rasmussen), Summer 2026: resulted in code/website for computing geometric quivers for rational knots (see https://www.homfly-tails.com/) and paper "Rational Knots, Quivers, and Tails of Colored HOMFLY-PT Polynomials" (still in progress)
Khovanov Homology and Non-Orientable Surfaces (faculty mentor: Holt Bodish, graduate co-mentor: Xianhao An), Fall 2025
The Geometry of Coxeter Groups, Summer 2023
I am also a graduate mentor for the directed reading program (DRP) this semester.
