I have sought to be a teaching assistant (TA) for all the intro math courses at UIUC. This has involved leading discussion classes, which means teaching a short lesson at the beginning and then answering questions, as well as various grading responsibilities. Below are the courses I have TAed or graded for.
MATH 220: Calculus (TA); Fall 2022
MATH 231: Calculus II (TA); Fall 2024
MATH 241: Calculus III (TA); Fall 2023, Spring 2024
MATH 225: Introductory Matrix Theory (Grader); Spring 2023
MATH 257: Linear Algebra with Computational Applications (TA);Â Spring 2025
At Wheaton, I was a TA for a variety of math courses. The responsibilities there involved leading help sessions, where students could come to ask questions about homework and the course material, and then I graded the homework sets. Below is a list of the courses I was a TA for.
MATH 333: Differential Equations; Fall 2019
MATH 341: Modern Algebra I; Spring 2020
MATH 351: Real Analysis I; Fall 2020
MATH 360: Geometry; Spring 2021
While at Wheaton, I was also a lab assistant for General Physics (Fall 2018) and I was a TA for the course Philosophy and the Sciences (Fall 2019).
