Is this a sprint, or is it a marathon? We gain access to the gymnasium at approximately 3:30 p.m., and the doors open just over 24 hours later.

Long before we enter the space, the placement of the temporary walls has been meticulously mapped and measured. I designed and built these modular walls myself, with the help of only a few dedicated individuals. The layout is never the same from year to year. Each new selection of student artwork must be curated with attention to thematic unity and a cohesive experience for the viewer.

In our first year, we exhibited just under 100 student artworks. In our second, we displayed more than 140. This event has become a meaningful opportunity for many alumni to return to our school, helping us build a community that bridges grades and graduation years.
