I utilize various skills from many different counseling theories but mainly employ the following three:
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term form of behavioral treatment which helps people problem-solve. CBT also reveals the relationship between beliefs, thoughts, feelings and the behaviors that follow.
Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) is a form of psychotherapy designed to help you identify self-defeating thoughts and feelings, challenge the nature of irrational and unproductive feelings and replace them with healthier, more productive beliefs.
The Gottman Method for couples therapy is a personalized process using assessment- and research-based interventions to help couples improve their communication and address other problems in the relationship.
