I am a Professor in the Economics Division at Columbia Business School. I joined CBS in 2004, after completing my PhD in Economics at Harvard University.  I received a BA in Economics at Amherst College in 1997.

My research is in the economics of education, with a particular focus on teachers and teacher labor markets.  I teach two courses to MBA students, Managerial Economics and Business Experiments.
