Hog Cost for Shares:

$1.40/lb based on hanging weight

Half Hog:

~80 - 100 lbs hanging weight

$112 - $140 for hog + ~$100-$150 for processing

Total estimate: $212 - $290

Take-Home Meat: ~ 52-72 lbs (65-72% of hanging weight).

Whole Hog:

~160 - 200 lbs hanging weight

$224-$280 for hog + ~$200-$300 for processing

Total estimate: $425 - $580

Take-Home Meat: ~104-144 lbs (65-72% of hanging weight).

Hog Shares: 

• A deposit will be required to reserve your locker appointment with JSF 

• You purchase a portion of the hog (priced by hanging weight) 

• JSF is responsible for taking the hog to the local locker of choice

• You will contact the locker prior to your locker appointment with cutting instructions - they will help you with this.

• Pork is processed, packaged, and frozen 

• You will pay Johnson Stock Farms for the hog + pay the locker separately for processing 

• The locker will contact you when your meat is ready for pick up. You’ll have approximately 7 days to do so. 

A deposit is required in order to reserve your locker appointment. This will be deducted from your total amount due for the animal.

• Half: $50 

• Whole: $100

The remaining balance is due to Chris or Alli before you pick up your pork.

You will also pay for processing at the locker at the time of pick up.
