The Great white shark is the most well known and feared shark. They are always in scary movies, but they are not that bad.
There is a 13.75 million percent chance you could be bitten by a shark. In fact there is a bigger chance your house could be struck by lightning. Or you could be elected the president of the United States.
When the shark jumps out of the water to catch prey their eyes roll back so they do not get poked.
The great white shark eat sea lions, seals, fish, sea turtles and dolphins and can grow from 15 to 20 feet long and weigh 5,000 pounds.
One of their main features is they can smell a drop of blood from 3 miles away. They can live up to 70 years!
