Henrico County Community Day is set for this Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Henrico High School. General Government and Henrico County Public Schools have joined forces to put together Henrico's biggest Community Day to date!
Come out for equipment demonstrations by Police and Fire, the HCPS Big Blue Bus, a Kids Zone with inflatables, a deejay and high school marching bands, dance teams and cheerleaders, as well as displays and plenty of giveaways. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase from a variety of local food trucks.
Parking for the event will be at Richmond Raceway, 5901 Richmond-Henrico Turnpike, Lot H Gate 12. A free shuttle service will transport guests to and from Henrico High School (parking will not be available at the school)

Student Council is hosting a food drive! All donations of canned goods or non-perishables are appreciated. Food donated will go towards the Henrico Christmas Mother.

This week in Advisory, Rolfe students will be discussing aspects of living in a digital world. The focus of the lessons revolve around the theme of Media Balance and Well Being. With the innumerable amounts of digital information and sharing today, we all need to find ways to keep a healthy balance. On the Common Sense Education website check out the activities and tips for families with practical advice for any age.
