I took a short break from the Bible study reflections I’ve been doing. As much as I enjoy them, they’ve been keeping me up late at night, and I need to get a better handle on my sleep if I want my health to improve. Don’t get me wrong—I absolutely love writing and look forward to every opportunity to do it. It’s a dream of mine to one day be able to write full-time. I'm still working on the Bible reflections, but I'm going to be publishing my findings a couple of times a week instead of every night.
In the meantime, I’ll be focusing on another kind of writing: reflections on the things I encounter in my day-to-day life. I’ll try to weave these experiences into what I’m learning on a spiritual level. Sometimes I’ll hit the mark; sometimes I won’t. Regardless, I’m eager to share my thoughts online. Hopefully, someone out there will find as much value in them as I do. At its core, this is about leaving something meaningful for my grandchildren—a way for them to know who I was, long after I’m gone.
