Jogesh Dash

Bio

Dr. Jogesh Chandra Dash is currently working as an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with specialization in  EE1: Rf & Microwave (Communication Engineering)  from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay in 2021 and M.Tech. in Electronics and Tele-communication Engineering with RF and Microwave specialization, from VSSUT (formerly UCE), Burla in 2016. He has worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at iDARE lab, ECE Dept., Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore from February 2021 to September 2022. He has worked as an Institute of Eminence (IoE-IISc) Post-Doctoral Fellow at the iDARE lab, in the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru from October 2022-April-2023. 

Dr. Dash is the recipient of the URSI Young Scientist Award (YSA) twice (in URSI-RCRS 2022 and URSI-GASS 2023). His research interests include Full-Duplex antenna design for 6G communication, MIMO antenna design, and analysis, MIMO RADAR antenna design and integration study for automotive applications, antennas for wireless power transfer for biomedical applications, Electrically Small Antennas, and space-time metamaterials.
